Arrive Chennai airport and transfer to Mahabalipuram (1 hour drive).Overnight at hotel.Chennai : Land of full of history , tradition , culture and heritage. Popularly known as the Gateway To The South it was the oldest settlement of the British . For the visitor Tamilnadu offers,golden beaches of the coromandel coast , cool scenic hill resorts , wildlife reserves and sanctuaries etc Marvellous old temple towns all over TamilNadu with their ancient rituals and festivals are living museums.

After breakfast sightseeing of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram.Mahabalipuram : This place declared as the WORLD HERITAGE SITE famous for the five monoliths , called the Pancha Pandava Rathas.Nine cave temples scooped out of huge rocks narrates tales of Indian myth .The most fascinating of the mahabalipur  am  monuments is the Arjuna’s penance.Kancheepuram : Known as the city of a thousand temples , this is one of the seven sacred  cities of India.Once  a seat of learning , Kanchipuram is also known for its hand woven silk fabrics, woven by thousands of families of weavers settled in and around the town.Overnight at hotel.

Early morning at 0500 hrs drive to Chennai Railway to board Shatabdi Express train for Mysore. Arrive Mysore 1330 hrs and transfer to Hotel  Later visit Somnathpur.famous for THE KESHAVA TEMPLE standing at the edge of this tranquil village. The walls of this star shaped temple are covered with superb stone sculptures depicting various scenes from hindu epics.No two friezes are alike.overnight at hotel.

After breakfast Sightseeing of Mysore and Srirangapattnam. Mysore known as Sandalwood City! The aromas of sandalwood, jasmine, rose, musk, frangipani and a hundred others. An attractive and clean city with pleasant climate.You can venture,The Mysore Palace - This was once the residence of the Wodeyars. Build in 1912 this Indo-Saracenic building has among other things- a carved silver door, a solid gold throne and a gallery of exquisite paintings.Srirangapatnam :   This is just 16 kms from Mysore city, it is a island fortress, inside this mosque with its twin minarets, the celebrated Ranganatha Swamy Temple, Tipu’s Summer Palace, overnight at hotel.

After a very nice breakfast at hotel drive to Mudumalai  Forest Guest House.  Jeep ride in the Night.Mudumalai - This famous wild life Sanctuary is situated at the tri-junction of the three southern states of Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka at an elevation  of 1000 meters and extending over an area 321 Sq. Km. The place is rich in its bio-diversity especially the avifauna (Birds). The entire sanctuary can be covered by car or on trained elephants provided by the Forest Department on hire. The best season to visit the sanctuary during April-August.overnight at MAdumalai.

After breakfast enjoy Elephant Safari in the Park. Afternoon Jeep Safari.Overnight at Madumali.

After breakfast drive for 3 hrs to reach Ooty.Ooty - The “Queen of hill stations” is the capital of Nilgris district. Nilgiris means “Blue Mountains”. Nilgiri mountains is near the tri-junction of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karanataka was founded by the British in the early part of the 19th century to serve as the summer headquarters of the government o Madras. It is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level.Overnight at Ooty.

After breakfast enjoy Toy train ride to Guruvayur.Ooty Toy Train : The narrow gauge Mountain Railway in its blue and cream livery is between Ooty to Mettupalayam via Conoor. The journey through tea plantations  and lush forests is a beautiful scenery.  Evening: If interested you can watch the cultural dances in temple auditorium.. Guruvayoor - pilgrim centers of Kerala. Its main attraction is the Sree Krishna temple. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple.overnight in Guruvayur

After breakfast Visit Elephant Camp, then drive to Cochin enroute visiting St.Thomas Church.arrive Cochin  Sunset cruise by boat. Cochin Geographically situated in the middle of Kerala, originally built by the Portuguese, has a natural  harbour with lagoons and canals and fishing hamlets.  One of the three biggest  ports on the West Coast in India, is also an industrially  developed  area. overnight in Cochin.

After breakfast sight seeing tour comprising of Fort Kochi & Mattancherry,Santa Cruz Basilica,Princess Street,St Francis Church,Dutch Cemetry,The Jewish synagogue and The Dutch Palace.Evening Kathakali Dance.Kerala's traditional dance-drama.  Dancers in their fantastic costumes, faces red, green and black, and enormous skirts - enact ancient legends.Overnight in Cochin.

After breakfast drive to Allepey for house to Kovalam.Houseboat - Houseboats also known as "Kettuvalloms"  are huge, long and tapering barges which were traditionally used to cargo tones of goods across kingdoms, with portion covered with bamboo and coir serving as a rest room and kitchen for the crew.
