Leh to  Manali Mountain Biking (Cycling) expedition is a once in life time experience and one of the most scenic rides in the world. A physically challenging high Himalayan experience while riding over the highest motorable passes in the world and reaching the heights of over 5000 mts many times makes this biking expediting one of the best riding experience in the world.

Meeting and assistance on arrival at International Airport.  Transfer to Hotel in New Delhi.

Delhi-Leh:  Morning transfer to the Domestic airport to fly Delhi-Leh. The One hour 15 minutes flight to Leh ( 3505M ) gives magnificent view of the Zanskar and Himalayan ranges of mountain. One can even see the peaks of Nun-Kun mountain (7000M) emerging from the blanket of clouds. On arrival, met by representative and transferred to hotel. Day complete rest to acclimatize. Evening assemble the bikes. Overnight hotel at Leh.

Acclimatization and introductory sightseeing: Guided sightseeing by car; Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. Evening at Leisure. Overnight hotel at Leh.

Test Biking and White Water Rafting: 12 Km of downhill ride from Leh to Phey village for a thrilling White Water River Rafting of the Indus river.
One of the most popular amongst the short river rafting,  this one gives the thrill and twist of a III grade of rapid at places, passes through the rugged mountains and visible trek routes to end up in Nimo villages near the confluence of Indus and Zanskar river. Pack the bikes in the backup vehicle and drive back to Leh. Overnight hotel at Leh.

Leh - Khardung-la - Leh ( 5380m ); ( 80km ): Ride up hill till Khardung-la pass ( 5380 m ); the highest motorable road in the world. Today is the final test of your acclimatization as you reach at the top of the pass you may feel the lack of oxygen and change of breathing rhythm. About 3 hrs of challenging and exciting cycling rewords you with magnificent view of whole Leh town and the gorges of Indus river and snowcapped peaks of Stok Kangri ranges. Ride back downhill is also exiting with many twist and turns. We take packed lunches from the hotel which we enjoy at the top of the pass. Dinner and overnight hotel at Leh.

Leh - Hemis - Takthog - Upashi - Karu ( 85 km ): On the Leh Manali highway we go off the road to visit the Takthog and Hemis monastery steep climbing to the monastery entrances before we reach our campsite at Karu. Overnight in tents at the camp.

Karu - Rumtse ( 33km ):Today we need to use our supporting vehicle to travel some distance. We start riding from Upshi village ( 3450 m ) through magnificent views; a 30 Km of pure joy to village of  Rumtse  ( 4370 m ). We camp near the small stream. Overnight at the camp. 

Rumtse - Tanglang-la ( 5360 m ) - Pang ( 90 km ) : Today we face the second high pass after the first experience of Khargungla pass; After a steady uphill biking we reach  the second highest motorable road at Taglang-la pass( 5360m ). A steady descend ride leads us to more plan which is very similar to the planes of Tibet. From here we further bike down to Pang (4400 m). Overnight camp at Pang. 

Pang - Lachung-la ( 5065 m ) - Sarchu ( 70 km ): One of the most exiting day of mountain biking we face two passes today the 5065m Lachlunga La and 4900m Nakli La. Once we reach Lachung la which give breath taking views we descend to Naki La and finaaly towards Brandy Nullha over the Whiskey bridge to Sarchu the mid way of Leh and Manali, we have already entered the state of Himachal Pradesh. Overinight camp at Sarchu

Sarchu-Baralach la-Jispa ( 72 km ): About three hours of climb takes us to the high pass of  Barchla pass ( 4892 m. ). A stop to have magnificent  view of Chandrabhaga range.  From here we drive to village of Jispa. Overnite at camp. 

Jispa - Base of Rohtang La Pass (3050 m); (76 km): Today we bike to Keylong which is about 25 Km.. From here we do the short biking to the bases of Rohtang La pass. Overnight camp at the base. 

Base - Rohtang Pass - Manali (2050 m); (64 km): The last and final pass Rohtang la (4060 M) awaits us to be conquered.  A mega descend of 55 Km takes us to the beautiful hill station of Manali. A celebration and stay at the Hotel Holiday Inn Manali.

Transfer to Kullu Airport, to connect flight to Delhi.  Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi Airport and transfer to Hotel in Delhi. Overnight hotel in Delhi.

Delhi Home: Transfer to International airport to fly home.
